She currently resides in Royal Oak, MI with her fiancé Christina (University of Michigan Club Lacrosse ‘18) and her 3 cats Patches, Marlowe, and Basil.

Summer is the former Head Coach of Oakland University (2022-2023) and has coached at multiple high schools across Southeastern Michigan since 2019. She is also a varsity field hockey coach at the high school level.
